Great Glass Finds for a Red Carpet evening!

We thought that it might be a good idea to take the time to summarise the fantastic finds we have discovered each month. We intend to publish these at the end of each month before they are rehomed through the website and vintage markets that we have planned for 2014!

We were most pleased to find a collection of Chance Glass, serendipity seemed to be at work because initially the first find of three 1950’s Op Art Swirl pattern glass dishes designed by Michael Harris came to us via an auction.

Amazingly, we then came across more Chance Glass, this time it was a platter in the Calypto design, also by Michael Harris and first introduced in 1959.

This platter even had its original label attached which you can see in the top right hand corner!

Following these finds we stumbled across a fab 1950’s shot glass carrier with its lovely shot glasses intact

We thought that sipping a beverage from these whilst nibbling a snack or two from the Chance glass platters would make a perfect evening in front of the tv watching The Oscars!
